My career has spanned the fields of background checking, identity authentication, contact data management and recruitment since graduating from The University of Manchester in 1995. About Know Your Candidate

Know Your Candidate (KYC) is an employment vetting provider that enables UK employers of any size to reduce the risks posed when hiring new employees. KYC does this by providing cost effective and flexible access to background checks that augment the reference process such as financial / credit checks, identity checks, criminal records checks and driving licence checks for example. We call these checks ‘data checks’ as they are gathered from pre-compiled data bases as opposed to references which have to be requested on a case by case basis from millions of employers across the UK.

Specialising in data checks enables KYC to offer its customers a very fast and efficient service (most of the checks we offer are completed in 1-2 days) and very competitive pricing. The KYC service is delivered entirely online from registration, ordering and paying for checks, monitoring progress and downloading the final candidate report.
